Originally from middle-of-nowhere Illinois, Garrett grew up surrounded by art. From watercolor paint to making jewelry at Grandma’s bead shop,
he was always creating. It wasn’t until moving to Northern Kentucky in 2015 that Garrett discovered his passion for photography. That passion
flourished after meeting his first mentor and teacher. In 2021, Garrett was accepted into the prestigious Governor’s School for the Arts. Here,
he worked with industry professionals across twelve different art mediums. Fast forward, Garrett currently
study's Photojournalism and Anthropology at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Ky.
