Born in middle-of-nowhere Illinois, I never saw the world in a creative manner. In fact, it wasn’t until moving to Northern Kentucky that I discovered my passion for art.
I have been taking photos since 2015. My love really flourished when I met an amazing teacher who I connected with that same year. In the summer of 2021, I applied and was accepted into the prestigious Governor’s School for the Arts. GSA is an art camp where industry professionals across twelve different art forms come and teach over three weeks. Fast forward to the present day, I currently study Photojournalism and Anthropology at Western Kentucky University. I work with the on-campus student publication, Cherry Creative, where I can work with local businesses and help them with advertising. WKU has been a dream come true, and I am excited to see where my studies take me.
